About Me

I am Joseph Paris, a Computer Applications student focused on learning practical web development skills. I am building and learning to create professional websites and webpages. I enjoy understanding how each piece of web development comes together from start to finish. I am passionate about using technology to serve people and spread the Word of God.

I believe technology is a powerful tool when responsibly used. We see too many examples of bad implementation and websites being used for the wrong reasons. My goal is to use my skills to create solutions that serve people, communicate truth and make a positive impact through meaningful software and web-applications.

Professional Interests

I am building webpages, websites and web-applications. I enjoy learning how to use HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and am learning how to use these languages to create web experiences.

I am interested in how web-technologies can support real-world people through effectively communicating the truth, being accessible for those who need accessibility, and creating effective user-friendly experiences.

Goals

In this course, I want to become confident with building valid HTML pages by using correct semantic elements. I want my work to be presented with excellence, accessible to all users and aligned with valid modern web standards.
